Job Description:
As an Operations Manager, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing our supply chain, operations, and purchasing activities to ensure the success of our organization. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an individual with strong organizational skills and a background in supply chain, operations, and purchasing management within the life science industry
Responsibilities:
• Innovate Supply Chain Strategies: Develop and implement supply chain strategies to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and guarantee the timely delivery of essential materials and products.
• Master Supplier Relations: Engage with suppliers to negotiate advantageous contracts, ensure best performance, and swiftly resolve any issues or discrepancies.
• Optimize Inventory: Strategically manage inventory levels to maintain optimal stock while minimizing excess and reducing carrying costs.
• Drive Purchasing Excellence: Lead the purchasing process from sourcing top-tier suppliers and obtaining competitive quotes to issuing purchase orders and tracking timely deliveries.
• Foster Cross-Functional Synergy: Collaborate seamlessly with product development, laboratory, business development, and SHEQ teams to synchronize supply chain activities with our overarching business goals.
• IT Services: Collaborate with IT stakeholders and responsible for IT related processes including ERP implementation and optimization
• Embrace Data-Driven Decisions: Leverage your analytical prowess to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed, data-driven decisions that propel our operations forward.
• Champion Problem Solving: Utilize your problem-solving skills to proactively identify and resolve challenges, ensuring smooth and efficient supply chain operations.
